Doesn't the laser get expensive? painful? and I thought that's supposed to be permanent after so many sessions...?

Shaver here...and I've waxed.

I guess it would depend on where I am removing hair. Both methods but in different places and that is all I am going to say.

i get a pretty good deal with the Laser place. I've been a long time customer. it's about $100 per area once i am in maintenance (after 4 treatments). It's considered permanent hair REDUCTION (supposedly 89%) not permenant removal so I need to go back every 90-120 days. The only permanent hair removal is electroysis and that is the most painful thing I've ever done. Tattoos, Body Piercing, waxing are painless in comparison.

edit: that's Electrolysis (Spelling)

Whew! I am glad that I am not very hairy. I can't deal with pain. I hate having to poke my finger 3 times a day. That is bad enough.

type 1 or 2? do you use insulin? if so, you could always just adjust your insulin shots when you have a couple of bites of cheesecake. :) not that i'm encouraging that... :)

Wax what is this? Sounds FREAKY!!

It is this ridculously hot, gloopy stuff you dribble all over the area you want to remove hair. You're suppose to spread it and all this stuff, then stick something on it, let the wax cool enough that everything is stuck together, and then RRRIIPPP it off in well move. Your haair gets pulled out by the root, so it lasts longer, but the flip side (As stated earlier) is that you have to let the hair grow long enough to be stuck into the wax

Sounds fun, doesn't it?

Hehe :P

Well I shave my face - though as you can see I'm a little slack about that sometimes (some would call it designer stubble - but really I'm just lazy).

My personal grooming habits in all other areas will remain undisclosed - at least until the next 'nude self-portrait' challenge :).

I don't care how a woman shaves as long as it's smooth. I shave my head too but I couldn't see me coating my head in wax and then ripping it all out! :(
