I doubt I'm the only one that has wondered where some of the DP user names originated...especially the unusual ones. There are names like bear_music, puzzled, NighShy, etc. What do they mean? What's the story behind them?
I've been using "chafer" for years. Back in elementary school my best friend and I were playing basketball. While we were playing, a very heavy-set teacher walked by. His "ample" thighs were rubbing together and made a noise. We were stupid kids, so we thought that was hilarious. A friend of ours came over and said, "Hey, did you hear that guys legs...they were chafing!" Because of that experience, my friends and I started using "chafer" as a code word for all kinds of things...not just thigh friction :-)
