I use winkflash for most of my printing and 'cool stuff' as they call it. I was getting a puzzle for a coworker (she needs it for V-day...they say i'll have it!)

Anyway, i saw they now have photobooks - like mypublisher (and illuma and asukabook). Hmmm...no cameo on the cover (i like that) and you can get an imprint on the front cover!! $18.95 for 20 pages
$18.95 Each up to 20 pages
50¢ each additional page
Shipping is $2.99 per 5 books

Book Specs
Cover Type: Hard-cover
Book Size: 12.25 x 10.125
Page Size: 12 x 9.875
Print Process: Full Color Offset

I'm gonna have to try me one of these. Looks like they do full bleed as well. This is the same process as the mypublisher and asuka books (need a 180dpi file). Looks like hardcover in the image too.

I like mypublisher ... except for one thing. They stick one page at the very end which says that it is made by mypublisher. I wrote to them and told them I'd be willing to "pay extra" if they could avoid putting that page in there. No dice.

I'd love to know if winkflash does the same thing... could you report back what you find?

Thanks!

I've recently printed a book with mypublisher. I'm still waiting to receive it. I'm kind of dissapointed to hear about the extra page.
It probably said about it somewhere and I missed it.

Oh well.. can't wait to get the book and check it out though

Agree on the extra page. I use a craft knife to carefully cut it out, but would of course rather it not be there. I'm anxious to hear about winkflash...please keep us updated!

did you try their posters (i mean giclee printing)? I wonder how good they are (both the quality of paper and printing). the prices seem to be very good for that type of printing.

I just cut the page out of the MyPublisher albums. The softcovers don't have that. Does the 10x16?

I have done a couple linen books and one leather - the leather is not what i expected, so i am a bit disappointed.

Anyone ever cover a book? I'm not too keen on the center cameo bit - I've thought of covering it, or perhaps covering the back, removing page 1, and inserting a photo in the newly created pocket.
