Naming a product is tricky, coz you've got to identify what makes your jerky unique, along with what you want the image of your company to be. Eg, are you going to sell based on the fact its a local product (eg my town jerky)? or because its a family/whatever recipe? Or because its an unusual flavour/spice/smoke combo? etc etc etc :o)

We are from Iowa the Iowa Hawkeyes mascot is Herky the Hawk so yeah that might work. |
