I have not taken any nature photos in months, which is something I hope to do more of soon. This morning I did something I have not done in ages and forgot how much I enjoy - I drank coffee and took pictures of the birds outside my kitchen window in the fresh snow. It made me realize how much I miss photography and hopefully will get me back into it a bit.

Very nice pictures rich. Which lens did you use?
02/12/2006 03:43:49 PM · #31
Thanks - Lens was the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS.

Edit - And as you can see from my link other photogs are doing a hell of a lot better with it than me :-)

Okay, Anybody know how to do a snow dance? I need another few feet of snow tonight else I will have to go to work tomorrow :-)

I wandered out and got a couple of pics from the little village down the road.

We have just caught the edge of all the bad weather that you guys are getting and have had about 3 or 4 inches over the past few days. Here is one of two of my fillies playing today when I put them out to run.

It snowed most of Saturday in Springfield MO, but not enough for pretty snow shots.

From the only snow we've had this winter.... 2 weeks ago.

Some shots from sledding today. My six year old son sledding, then getting air (not a very good shot, but my camera doesn't do action too well), then the sunset showing how the kids melted all the snow off the hill sledding.

I have a membership there and every time I go it's in the same spot. If it didn't blink it's eyes I'd swear it was dead!
