These nit-pic threads are killing this site. Glad there is still a glimmer of humor around here.

Well, I'm 2-seconds EXACTLY...

The funny thing is I had to go back to P&S to achieve it.

The 300D doesn't have 2 seconds in either Manual or TV modes. My little game with Shutterpug requires EXACTLY 2 seconds. So my entry was shot with the CoolPix 8700. Go figure... LOL

shhhhhhh - dont tell him - let him play with that old P&S. ;-)

Mine goes from 4 (1/4 seconds) then to 3 seconds (0'3) going down the dial...

You sure you're not doing 1/2 (2) a second? Or, maybe I'm doing something wrong... LOL

EDIT TO ADD: OMG, I am SOOO STUPID... LOL... 2 seconds is 2'0, not 0'2

What a misleading statement to throw Shutterpug into self-delusion that she *might* have the upperhand here due to better camera :p I'm sure cheeseman has shot something from his 300D using 2 seconds and is keeping it top-secret under all that cheese! :p

Wooo hooo, the 300D is back into this challenge... RESHOOT tommorrow. :-)
03/14/2006 09:35:14 PM · #192
damn - he figured it out! I was NOT going to tell him. lol

I still have the better camera, and the better shot.
03/14/2006 09:36:16 PM · #193
Someone go ahead and tell the cheeseman, to RTFM... :-) I feel like a moron. LOL

Really? That kinda sounds like a half hearted challenge to me. C'mon, where's that Rikki confidence????

And if this is a real challenge, what are the stakes?

i.e. loser sits out 2 members challenges, loser makes the winner a favourite photographer, etc.
03/17/2006 04:27:02 AM · #200
LOL! You're already in my faves dummy!

2 member challenges? nah that's not fun. where's the competition in that mate? not too long ago, Cindi challenged me and the stakes were stated here by Bear_music:

The genesis of the compeition:

If I may offer a humble suggestion: let the winner of this mini-competition dictate to the loser the subject/content/mood/whatever of his/her entry in the next challenge. It would have to be an on-topic suggestion, though. But in other words, "Okay, bud, you lost to me so take a picture MY way in the next one..."

Bear i think I've been challenged again ;)
