Hey Outcasts - what do you have planned/in so far?
I've got one in Yellow and one in Refraction of Light.

I'm in Yellow and Textures. I still need to get one in an open challenge for the MS tourney.

I got one in Yellow. I'll have one on the open challenge, but I haven't shot it yet and don't feel real hopeful there. I should have one in Texture as well.

Wait, I thought we only have to enter one of the Challenges---in this case either Yellow or the open challenge. It seems by the way that people are talking that we have to enter both of the challenges. Would someone mind clarifying? Thanks

You can enter one, some, or all. Only your best score will count.

You SHOULD enter at least one challenge but CAN enter as many as you want. The best score for the all the challenges you enter is what will be taken for the WPL for example say Yellow III gets a 5.9 and Textures IV gets a 4.9 and Refractions gets a 6.9, the 6.9 score is the one that will be taken for the WPL.
I will have something in Yellow II, Textures IV and Children's Toy, increasing my chances of a better score. :)

Actually, now that I think of it the "Textures" challenge is in NEXT week's lineup. THIS week includes "Yellow", "Toy" and "Refraction" I believe. They told us "Best of 2002" doesn't count in WPL if I recall correctly.

You are right, the Best of 2002 does not count but looking back through the thread and checking the WPL website........... you are right, Textures will count towards WEEK 2 of the competition.

The really funny thing is looking at all the teams I feel we have a fighting chance against just about everyone of them except for the Magnificent 7, who we won't face until the last week, giving us plenty of time to prepare, learn and KICK SOME BUTT! :)

I will probably pull down a 5.6 - 5.7 for my highest of the two challenges. How the rest of my team doing...make a good prediction, be optimistic. Let's try and figure out our score...we have just played the 1st quarter of the game...we need a pep talk.

Your right Robert. If anyone is confused about what challenges announced they can go to WPL and click on the schedule. At the top you can see what challenges are for what week.

What's going on guys... must I pick up your slack???
Yellow: 6.1
Refraction: 6.5
If I submit to 3 challenges and my scores are all higher than my teams... can I we use 3 of my scores at the top 4???
(I know the answer, but figured it was worth a try I guess)

I didn't enter Yellow (didn't get it finished in time - sorry, you can see 2 outtakes in my portfolio).
Entered Children's Toy at last minute (should have gone with my Light Refraction instead). Currently around 5.1 (ugh).
Textures: LOOK OUT! I've got a good one. Very happy with it and can't wait for voting to start. :-)
And BTW: WTG on those scores!!!
