Hello,
I was wondering of the three lenses, which would you suggest for a walkaround lens?
Canon 24-85
Canon 28-105 (the 3.5 one)
Tamron 24-135
Which is better, IYO?

Out of the Canon 28-105 and Tamron 24-135 I would pick the Tamron. Little pricier but range is better and lens is sharper. I don't have any experience with the Canon 24-85.

I'd go with the Tamron 24-135 (unless you want to save a few bucks and buy my 28-105). ;-) |

I'd actually go with Sigma 17-70 as I find 24-28 not wide enough for my landscape/cityscape needs.

Tamron 24-135!
This is a great lens. It's an SP lens - meaning pro quality and build. Extremely sharp, good macro functionality too, and works well in low light belive it or not.
For wider get a tokina 12-24.
28-105 is less on both ends, and 28 is not very wide at all. 24 works well outdoors and some indoors.
28-85? not famaliar with that one. the 28-80 was the most popular film camera kit lens and not very good.
