IMO th eDOF is too shallow. Would prefer the whole head to be in focus. I like "Half Dog Half Amazing" more.

I like the texture in this a lot. I think if you sharpened the eyes just a bit it would be perfect. The DOF doesn't bother. In fact I like that aspect to it.

The only minor flaws I see are your reflection in his one eye, and a very slightly shallow DOF that doesn't bring his other eye QUITE as clearly. But hey, I'm certainly no professional, so what do I know?
His eyes are just beautiful... as is the rest of him :) |

I like the "Half Dog Half Amazing" shot better also. It has more personality
