I just bought a Nikon D50 any pointers on using it...? |

Just do like I do...
Hold the D50 up to your face. Position your eye over the little square that you can see through...not the 2" lcd square.....and with your pointing finger of your right hand press down on the round button until you hear a click (and see a flash)...
Then cross your fingers and Chimp at that lcd screen.
Sorry....not exactly what you meant I think....but if you look at my profile I bet many will say "ahhh thats why her footwear picture almost got the brown!!"
Anyways, I'm still learning mine and am far from qualified to tell you any tips...but I will watch this thread to see what tips you get!!
fyi...I love the camera!

Put a memory card in it, go out and shoot, if you don't like the photos, delete them :-) dassilem's technique works pretty well too :-P

Buy this Complete Nikon D50 Guide by Thom Hogan
For general camera use, "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson is good for getting off of "Auto" mode. |
