I'm trying to find a camera in this range that has a very fast shutter response, yet isn't lacking in other features, as i want to be able to take a variety of photos (mostly action, but other types also).
Its hard to find any sites that even mention shutter lag, nevermind show speeds for it for each camera. Can anyone help?

Just to add, i have been looking at the Samsung V4, which looks like a great camera (i can get 256meg of memory with it for £314), but i can't seem to get any indication of the shutter lag in it ANYWHERE (i've tried e-mailing samsung, various review sites etc yet nothing).
Does anyone here own one that could help? |

Any film camera should meet your needs.
Doubt you'll find any digital cameras in that range with fast shutter speeds to compare to a film camera.
