It started out well...sigh...didn't do toooo terribly right up to 157 votes... been going slowly but steadily down ever since. Here I thought it was better than my last entry but then again, I'm not experienced with advanced editing, so that'll kill me. Ah well, I'm still sitting at almost exactly average. |

This challenge voting pattern certainly has me baffled.
Usually, once you score around 6.3, it stays steady or climbs.
I've been up to 6.3 and then back down to 5.98 then back to 6.2 then back to 5.97 where I'm at now. Weird!
I'm grateful and fortunate to have 9 positive comments and 2!! favorites, though.

I am happy with my score. Obviously would've loved to get more, but it is my best. First ever entry was a 3,034 or something. this was 8 challenges ago. Seems like I am moving in the right direction.

Yep it was just stupid really, some people need to get their monitors calibrated. I dont think it is a reportable comment just rediculous. LOL

My comment had nothing to do with colour, it was directed at the subject, and I would tell you what was said, but it would give it away which photo is mine. Suffice it to say, if you (they) are going to leave such a comment, they should at least have the decency to admit who they are!! Hiding and then writing is pretty sad.
That said, there are a whole lot of wonderful people who have left me wonderful comments for which i am terrible grateful for! So thank you to all of them!! |

As an Olympian I do not post my score but I can say that I have 21 comments! My daughter who also has a photo in the challenge has 11 comments. After a long comment drought I think people have started to comment again :)

I, too, received an interesting comment today. Said "comp needs work". Well, I HAVE been working on it. Finally got the system installed on the RAID'd drive and have been dutifully reloading software when I have the time. It's a pain to reset all your preferences in Photoshop and get it working the right way all over again. But what I really want to know is how did this person know my computer needed work?
Oh. Perhaps they meant "composition". Well I will admit I'm not as good at that as I was when I was younger. I used to love essay tests. If one restated the question using coherent, complete sentences with reasonably appropriate grammar, correct spelling, and not too much extraneous punctuation, one usually got an "A". Actual knowledge of the subject matter was completely optional. |
