Starting to get comments - thanks guys - I'll get to mine tonight. My monitor at work is Teh Suck and I don't trust it as far as I could dropkick it.

Below is the format in which i've had two crits from the critique club. i don't know if this is used for all the c.c. crits, but it's a good starting place. just things to consider on the crit. i think i'd also add exposure.

First Impression - the most important one:
Composition:
Subject:
Technical (Colour and light):
To grow its vote?:
Summary:

And, yes, one challenge a week at least, so we have something to crit! if we can post the image we want critiqued here, that'll make life easier for us all.

I think I have commented on all the newest pictures from you lot! :-) Let me know if I forget somebody.
Hope I say somthing that helps. I feel that I learn from the commenting process my self.

If you think I am telling something wrong I would very much want to know about it. That is what this group is IMO about. Honesty.

Thank you all for your comments on my pictures.

It is also funny to tell somebody about things I my self don't do right.
Like using the full 150 kB. I didn't have the software to do it at the time :-)

Can I join? margiemu said i should come have a look ;) Do I have to enter every weekly challenge? I didn't enter this week's Holy Pleces or Night Shot. Is that gonna be problem?

if you did last weeks, make sure you enter the ones that come up tonight, adn we'll go from there. sound ok by you?

thanks very much for the comments i've recieved so far - very helpful indeed. i've only done two of yet, but will do two more tonight. i'll only be able one pic per week for everyone, as i just have too damn much else to do!

I've got this idea.

A challenge for us all :-)

I want to get to know you folks a bit more, it is always better when talking to people to know somthing about them and how they look like.

So......

Why don't we have a "Profile photo" challenge!!!??

hi all. i think we need to begin our crits with 'from the crit trading post 2' or something like that, not from our crit club, or the like. i know i was doing it too, but i think the official crit club is concerend about confusion between the two.

i'll go back and alter my comments, as i haven't done that many yet (sorry...) and stick to crit traders or something like that from now on...

i think just leave out 'critique club' completely. that way there can be no confusion. it's not that we will be confused, but that others reading our comments sections may be.

Hi Laura: what program are you using? If you have PhotoShop it's quite easy: Image=>Image size=>set the pixels you want. Tell me if this makes sense to you.

I cant seem to get my pic 120x90. I'm really sumb when it comes to this sort of thing. I use painshop pro....
