Due to a network issue, the server that the DPC Fanatics chatroom runs on is currently inaccessible. Until the network is repaired, I've restarted the emergency backup chatroom, to keep you addicts happy :o)

I've not synced the user databases in a while, so if you've joined the normal chat in the last few months, you'll need to create a new account on the backup chat too.

| If by secret you mean there's frequently threads about it and it's linked in people's bios and signatures, then yes. Totally secret. |

Latest update - the hosting company's router at the Telco end (in this case BellSouth) has blown up, probably due to a power surge, and is going to be replaced by the telco this morning (hopefully). I'll keep the backup chatroom running for now. More updates when I get them...

This downtime was unannounced and as such is having a big impact on my online activities. I thought we were on a 99.99999% uptime guarantee? - What sort of compensation can we expect?

I could find it once I found this thread - trouble was I hadn't seen this thread and a search on "Chat" didn't find it either! Once some kind soul topped it and I saw it I found my way in! :P

OK folks, the routers have been replaced, and everything is back up and running again as normal. I've closed the backup chat, so come back home! ;o)
