I have friends (not photographers) who are going to Iceland for a week and will be driving all over the island. Does anyone have any recommendations for good restaurants?

in Egilsstaðir is a great place called Café Nielsen the best restaurant on the East coast.
in Akureyri is a place called Bautinn great place on the North side.

| Don´t forget Bæjarins Bestu, Bill Clinton ate there when he visited Iceland, it´s cheap too! :P |

On Akureyri it is Bautinn ad DanSig said, but it is also Fiðlarinn(the fiddler) and Greifinn
In Hafnarfjordur it could be fun to go on Fjörukráinn and let Vikings serve them with Viking style food. Also is nice to go on Fjarann if they want it in romantic way.
Sout from Reykjavik is a good place on Stokkeyri(it is a ghosttown with a ghous musesm) and get dinner on Fjöruborðið. I recoment Surf´N´Truf on that place.
It is better to se what the travel plan is to recoment goot fine places and also good not-so-fine and expensive places :D
