ok so after this trip i had last weekend i think i need to get my camera cleaned. i got it for my birthday in begining of may and it looks like it needs cleaning now, is that normal? anyways i was wearing wool most of the time (campng under a glacier) and it looks like some threads got indside.

I´m still such a newbie i dont realy know how to do things myself and therefor need help and or advises on how to or where to go...

I would personally send your camera to your local canon services. I the uk they are very fast and also they know what they are doing. but it really depends on what is in your sensor. If it is dust and material you might be able to get it out with a dust blower and they are cheap. but if the sensor has finger prints or muck you would need to clean the actual sensor and if you dont know what you are doing it would be a dangerous venture. I dont know what i am doing so will be sending my camera away to be cleaned when needed

hope this helps Andrew

If you are seeing it in the eye piece it is not on the sensor. try cleaning the eye piece or checking the mirror with the lens removed
