In New Zealand we are having the coldest winter I can remmember. It must be some kind of cycle, hope it means we get a hot summer! Not sure about prefering the cold over the heat, would quite like to feel my extremeties again.

i'd rather be warm than lose feeling in my fingers every day.

I beg to differ sir. As much as I complain about the 7 months (seems like a conservative estimate to me :P ) of winter, I hate it when it's such a yucky sweldering heat.

It easy to put a scarf on, but there's not much you can do to cool down. Gosh I hate walking to work in this heat.

Bring on the snowflakes!

Hot, ha... it's actually been rather mild here for July... highs in the low 90's is actually nice for this time of year.

So last nights Micro Burst and it's 500 plus cloud to ground lightning strikes somehow blew up my AC unit.

It's 88°F in my house and 108°F outside. I am sitting and waiting for the repair guy.

The broken AC tip of the day: To stay cool while waiting for the repair guy, soak your shirt put it on and sit under the ceiling fan ...
(Desert Rat Swamp Cooler)

Stay Cool!

When it gets up over 100°F, Oregon cab is a downright miserable place to be.

When we built our house, the contractor gave us the option of adding AC, and, like the dummy that I am, I said, "Hey, this is Oregon. Who needs air conditioning?"

I̢۪m definitely going to have AC installed. I hate it when my chocolate melts. :D

Winter --- Toronto, isn't that an oxymoron? I thought it was only 7 months of bad sunbathing weather. Oh, when Toronto does get a taste of winter the army has to come in. ;o)

Hey Carol. This is cool compared to Lytton BC. At least it's not humid.

110 here, only to get hotter. I'm supposed to do some outdoor headshots later today, I think I might tell them the camera doesn't work right above 110 degrees. ;-)

I tried that last night... I brought the chunk out of the fridge to my computer, decided it was too much, broke off a few pieces and took the rest back to the fridge, and by the time I sat down and picked up my treat, it was already warm and getting soft :(
(the fridge is only in the next room)

Put the chocolate on icecream (well-frozen) and eat even faster :-)
