"Take a photo in which the sky is the subject or plays a major role in the composition."
This months "Outdoor Photographer" magazine (if you don't subscribe, you really should) is the annual "Landscape" issue. They have a story in there about a guy that concentrates on the sky. He's got some nice stuff. Let's see what the people of DPC can do.

"Make the sky the subject of your photo this week; if the .. [more] landscape plays any role it all, have it be a supporting role."
So... is the landscape in this considered a "supporting role"?

Nice shot. I'd say the predominant subject is the sky, with a flash of ground color as contrast.
This will be interesting. And a tough one to judge. |
