Thanks again to all of you who have given me so much here at DPC.

I'd like Annah to receive a renewal for her membership. She's just 15 and has done some incredible work. She's given over 775 comments, entered 21 challenges so far this year and has posted many times as she's added to this community. Congratulations, Annah.

I'd like Eyewave to receive a membership. He's been a registered user for 8 months now and has entered 23 challenges, given over 800 comments and adds to the posts and the community. His work is growing and he has much to add still to this group. Congratulations, Eyewave.

To the many others who were nominated or nominated themselves, I'll be adding you to my favorites and watching your work. During the year, as funds become available, I'll be looking at your additions to DPC and offering my help. Use this place to try your hand at challenges, make comments and post when you have something to say. You will grow.

I am very happy that a site like this exists, and for it to be loaded of people like all of you. It was very kind to give those memberships away, I am sure they will put them to good use. CONGRATS!!!

I just found out about it today when Rebecca sent me an email which I realised was something about not having received a free membership. I couldn't understand it at ALL at first as I had not put myself forward for one at any point and had no idea I'd been nominated for one either!!!

I'd like to clarify that I was indeed a paid member for quite some time, at least two years, possibly more, I forget now. When my paid membership expired this latest time, a couple of months back, I made the decision to step down to registered user (unpaid member) for the time being. As I don't enter challenges really (my brain just isn't wired to shoot that way) the benefits of the fee just weren't worthwhile for me. I had waited and waited for long-promised changes to DPC Prints but after a few years of waiting (and due dates coming and going) I decided to find other avenues to sell my work and that reason for membership then also ceased to exist.

I continue to enjoy DPC hugely and hope that I'm able to contribute by forum posts, voting and commenting.

But please, I definitely don't need a membership to be donated as I'm in a position to be able to afford it myself should I want one.

I'm delighted to read about the recipients of Rebecca's very very generous offer and am certain they'll quickly show her that her faith in them is well-placed.

hey, wow, I was so surprised to see an e-mail pop up saying I have been given a membership! :O I wasn't going to renew until I caught up with my comments...if I had the money to nenew :P But thank you sooooo much to Rebecca for being so awsome and generous!
