Anyone heard of this stock agency? Has anyone done business with them? |

I've heard quite a bit about them. mostly from photography magazines but including some online research. Infact, I heard to much about them I decided to apply for submissions about 4 weeks ago. I got my acceptance letter today. :)

What kind of model are they? Closer to microstock, or more along the lines of Alamy, MyLoupe, and Photographer's Direct?
Also, what's their submission process like? Is it the CD/DVD submission or all internet uploading? |

They're a mAcro stock library, so more like Alamy & MyLoupe, etc. Submission application was easy, an online application, plus they reviewed images I linked via my website. I was nervous about linking my website because it is client-oriented and not a very good representation of my stock portfolio... but it worked. :)

Here is what I got back from them.
We reviewed your questionnaire and noted that you use the Nikon D70. We
require our shooters to use professional-grade DSLRs with at least an 8.2
megapixel sensor.
I wrote back to ask if they allowed other Nkon cameras, such as the D1H, D1X, or D2X? Since they are professional grade DSLRs (but less than 6MP). And have they priced one of these before. THEY are professional grade! :)

Well I don't have a page yet since I just got accepted a few days ago, but I got the acceptance with only showing my website, so you can see what they saw by looking there. They do not require exclusivity. Check their website! :)
And, thanks very much!

Cindi, you know they are in Jax, don't you? You could probably go over there and charm them.
Superstock was the first stock agency I'd ever heard of. I have a friend who sells her artwork through them. |

cindi, why don't you get rex to show you how to set up a private gallery page with sample stock stuff and then link reviewers and the like to that page? that way, they see (at least initially) the stuff you want them to see without them having to wade through other stuff. |

So is anyone getting any reasonable sales on Superstock? |
