Also on the main protfolio page, left justify that text and put photo thumbs next to each category.

Good start but needs work.

Yep, yep, and yep... also what I (and others) said above about the fonts, navigation, and thumb borders.

Oh, and the double spacing thing....

You have the makings for a jam-up professional site, it just has some Mickey Mouse undertones that need to be cleaned up.

Your site is different as you don't use nav bars on the side of your page. Plus yours has a flair to it that allows you to get away with it.

Alright, I got the problem with Internet Explorer fixed. I bagged the javascript and just used the _blank thing that a couple people suggested. I'm looking at everyone's suggestions and will be making some changes over the next week or two. Thanks again for everyone's input, and any other comments are greatly appreciated!

Have people paid you to do any of that stuff yet?

Yeah, I've been paid to do a couple of photo restorations. I've also done a photo session and done the sports photography for a friend of my brother. I wasn't going to say I could do something unless I had done it.

I'm also just getting into event photography. I am shooting a Sweet 16 party on September 9th and a Bar Mitzvah on November 4th. After I shoot the Sweet 16 I am going to add an event photography page.

Alright, so here I am again.

Shortly after fixing the javascript problem, I found a very simple flash way to do my galleries. I spent a couple hours today redoing all of my website portfolio this way. Check it out and let me know what you think.

How do I get home from your gallery?

Don't make me use the back button boy ;D

See, when it comes to photography websites, it's completely okay to have your galleries open in a smaller, separate window. As a webdesigner for almost a decade, I can tell you this with confidence.

If, however, you're against doing this (or the javascript issues understandably drive you mad), try using iframes. It's real simple to set your site up this way. If you'd like to me walk you through it, PM me to discuss.

The site looks great btw and I love the gallery. Will agree with what others have said about fonts, sizes and centering, but that's no biggy.

Lookin good, congrats! :)

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Not SIMPLEVIEWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another site that has succumbed to simpleviewer!!!!!

Sorry, pet peeve of mine. I see too many people using this as their portfolio viewer.... IMHO it lacks originality.

Yeah, I mean I know its not original. However, it is very easy, and its clean and simple. So I'm not complaining.
