When I submitted this shot for "Image Without Subject" and was waiting for voting to start, I showed my mom and she said it was the best picture I had submitted to date.

And then voting started and I was scoring above a six. A SIX!!! To me, scores in the fives are wonderful, so imagine my excitement about a six. :-D

My power's been out for a few days. Today it came back, and I was able to check the challenge results. I knew I was going to be pleased with the score, but I about fell over when I saw that I was in the top 20!!!

I am so happy!!!! That "93%" on my profile page feels quite nice.

When I saw your placing I felt immediate joy for you. You kicked ass. Frankly, it wouldn't have surprised me if it finished even higher.

I think your photos should have finish at least in 4th. To me, only 3 other photos above it were truely 'Images without Subject'.

Congrats!! You got one of my top votes - the reason I didn't call it out in my "Underrated" post is I didn't address any of my favorites that were in the to 25, which included you!! Way to go, girl!!!

Congrats Kelly. My own Image Without a Subject was more of a joke (cuz I couldn't think of what NOT to shoot!), but you showed it can really be done. :-)
