Thanks! Not being able to walk for nearly 4 days totally sucked, lets just hope it doesn't come back in a hurry!

Am over a friend's for several days so didn't get to use Photoshop to edit these. So they didn't come out exactly how I had in mind but Picasa was decent. |

Melethia asked how I did this with the lights all the same.
Some may have thought that the first 4 shots are the same head, they are not. This is 5 separate shots combined in Fotofusion all straight from the camera with no PS work besides a resize and USM of the final collage.
I tried the first shot about 10 times before I got the lighting right, taped the the floor where my knees were (didn't have to worry about my stance as much) Since I had practiced it a few times, it was easier to get myself back into position. Remote was in my right hand, otherwise I would have been pointing with the right. (worked better with the ring anyways). You might notice that the second shot with just the white shirt on I am a bit to the left, and my hair is a slightly different height from the top in each one. I chose the expression because I thought it was funny, and smiles or frowns don't always come off the same.
Really, once I had the lighting and the tape down, it was a snap.

I'll get to commenting here in a bit. It's been a crappy day at work. I had grand plans for a shot I wanted to try but didn't get home in time. Maybe tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a very unassuming shot from this past weekend (I tend to "bank" a few shots for days I end up not being able to shoot anything.) Comments aren't necessary - it was an experiment and I hadn't actually planned on using it.
And while I'm here, many thanks for the great comments on yesterday's SP - I really thought it turned out well but I never can tell how things I like will go over. :-)
