| Now wait! I am new to this site and by reading your comments on personal best, I am getting the 5.53 average I got on my first challenge entry is good?? And what does the percentage represents? I got 66%. I am pretty confused... |

I agonized over this shot. Had three versions that I couldn't pick between. Guess I picked right, this just shattered my previous personal best.

I would say that yes that is pretty good for your first time and the 66% means you beat 66% of the people that entered (also not bad) |

My PB was in the Image Grain II challenge. Although it's a PB 5.91 it had been up at 5.98 for the whole weekend and all of Monday, then wham, right in the last few votes it went back down. In fact, I lost 10 votes during rollover and 5.93 to 5.91. Still, it's better than most of my recent attempts.

Finally managed to score higher than I did on my second entry! I was worried it was all dumb beginners luck. AND starting to feel like the P&S was the talent instead of me!

I really am in love with this shot for more than one reason :)
My first reason is because it is my daughter. My second is because it is a new PB at 6.7 and with 96%!! I almost woke the house with my hoots and hollers :) |
