I want to thank the people who commented on my shot during voting.



I entered this knowing it would not score well. But I didn't want to be last or anything. I submitted this to the Purple challenge because I feel that kinetic photography is a valid form of photography.

Receiving comments at all made me feel great because I knew that someone was not passing the shot by without a second thought.

One comment was very hard to take at first but helped me solidify my feelings about kinetic photography.

And the other comments told me things about the shot itself and I am really appreciative of that.

I guess a reason I'm posting this, besides thanking the commenters, is that I want to encourage people who might be thinking about taking a risk - please do! If you're not on a team and need a high score, it can be a growing experience to try something outside your comfort zone like this.
