I should have entered this one, right?:
I was worried about oversharpening comments on the hair, even though only the eyes were sharpened.
This was a crop of my actual entry that flopped:

This was my entry, a candid portrait that scored 5.96 and dropped in score every single day of the challenge.
This was my alternative, but I thought it was a bit too dark.

My outtake
I was going back and forth over these 2 and came to the conclusion the outtake was not going to be to well received, but now I am not sure. I didn't think the harsh shadows would play well, but they are there to convey a feeling of the 50's.
