A week ago I posted a topic asking for tips and samples of headshots, as I was being obligated
to shoot my mother-in-law's headshots.
Anyway, here're the results. Not satisfied with them (obviously..didn't wanna do it in the first place..), so I'm asking for suggestions. Would more post-processing help them?
Opinions are good too.:) You can say they're terrible, that's acceptable ;)
The last two headshots are not conventional, but I was going for that.. and the last thumbnail is of a full body she also asked for.
Anyway, I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Throw a round of s-curve at them and I think they'll look pretty good. They don't seem to have quite enough mid-tone contrast.

I agree that more contrast is needed.

Ok, thanks. :)
Let's try this. Better, or did I mess it up???

In the portraits you have a very diffused light, witch is good, but it's creating a two-dimensional photo, because is lacking contrast.
I would advise you to use a bit more light on on side to give some tridimensionality effect. Not a lot of light. Just a bit. A reflector might be enough.
And I like the first photo the most.
