He never thought of himself as bad either, though he did choose "morally gray" as a lifestyle. It's good now, because the villians of the show can progress from the father-figure to the ones behind the scenes.

I just started watching this a few weeks ago, and I'm already hooked. Course, with daddy brainwashed, he's probably going to go after them, but the mom and son will remember now, won't they? hmm....

Yep... I pointed this out to my son that now the father can be a bad guy again... and go after Clair.

And note that Hero's dad is involved with this "company"!!!

I kept saying that to my one of my friends, I knew it... but again I dont think he is gone from the story or show just yet. His memory MAY be gone now so who knows if he is now going to after her as a bad guy. But I dont think so, I think some how he is going to remember or find out the truth and help her or them out. And who knows about the family also remember Clairs friend they made him forget but clair showed him again.... I think they made a tape again not sure though... so anyway what about clairs friend he knows. And her real mom has to come back into the story sooner or later

lol anybody see litle Hiro playing gameboy in the background in one scene so his dad knows also about the corporation or what/who ever is running this thing or knows about the heros. Is his dad like Hiro does he have powers? And if so why did he not turn him in to where clairs dad works cause they wanted claire did'nt they......

I think that's one of the points in the show. Any good story has a bit of allegory in it. We hold different standards for our family than we do for others.

Mr. Bennet obviously was about protecting his own above all else. He shot Claude for hiding someone, but did the same thing himself. Maybe it's because he grew over time, and learned from his mistake. Many will do good for some, only some will do good for many.

They have some fill-in information, like the whole back story to Hanna Geitelman (the one who can communicate with computers with her mind), and why she didn't go with Matt and Ted to confront Mr. Bennet.

claude was shot. or was he. did anyone else notice how surprised mr bennet seemed after the first shot was fired? i'm fairly certain claude staged it (fake bullets and squibs under his shirt) and that's how he survived.

as for bennet's mind? i doubt all knowledge of clair has been erased... just, as he said, anything that would give away her location.

guess we'll see when he teams up w/ matt next week, eh?

and i'll second the call to go read the graphic novels (even though the first 18 have that stupid, oversized versa ad... despite having owned two good vehicles from them, i'm starting to not like nissan...)

Anyone take notice of the preview for next week where the black chick they keep fighting over is alive? I'm wondering what her powers are.

i've thought that, too, simply because she's one of the featured members on the nbc/heroes splash page-- and she would have been the only one without powers, which i thought was weird.

is it only going to last one season? I seem to remember a trailor saying "the final chapter in the show" or something like that. Does the bomb go off and they end the show, so they don't end up milking it like LOST?
