There's one of me in the hospital, the doctor is re-attaching my hand. It's not quite as exciting a photo as I make it out to be.

No problem Kevin. I understand where you're coming from and your question is completely valid. Actually I find the question to be valid on a lot of images but only because I really have no idea what voters like, I have seen some amazing images barely break break the 5.x mark.
Things I'm experimenting with:
- saturate to the point of too much, then back off one step
- same with sharpening
- same with noise removal
I think a combination of these three elements can lead to an extremely easy-to-view image ... depending, of course, on subject / composition. This is the DPC version of abstraction :) |
