25 minutes till roll over and i can actually talk about my Best Of pic and the news that goes along with it.

No ones on so I'm going to be talking to myself but i cant wait all the same.

okay... this is a picture taken in a recording studio at 4 in the morning or so in miami.

right before we left florida i hooked up with a rap group who was putting out a CD. they wanted pictures and i took them for them.

in the studio, i met DJ Trip and Subliminal. They're a couple of DJ's who were big in the rave scene and i was a little star struck by that.

the rap group "stash house" put together a song for them that night. we were there from 12 midnight till 7 in the morning but Stash House put together one hell of a song in that time while i snapped about a billion pictures.

Stash House's CD came out this week and they're sending me a copy. They used the photos from my shoot for the jacket.

I found out about it a few days ago but couldn't say anything because of the current challenge. i didn't want to post anything in the thread that might indicate which photo was mine.

whats funny is that this pic was taken in the next room from the recording studio and the equipment that they're standing next to was never actually used...

I know how that feels.....it's awesome.

My entry is a drag queen and a street preacher at a gay pride celebration in Harrisburg last July.

The drag queen is quite a nice fellow actually, and came to the gallery where I had my first exhibit, with this picture of course, and created a minor furor.....all in fun, of course.

The upshot is that this pic made its way onto the front page of Harrisburg's alternative newspaper, got me in the door to the galley that exhibits my work, and kinda made me a minor celebrity in the gay community.

I'm also slated to do a portrait shoot for, get this name, Visa D'Kline, my benefactor, with the possibility of becoming the local drag queen portrait specialist.

There's just something so outrageous and cool about that whole thing!

I'm thrilled!

So keep your fingers crossed and be prepared for things to take off for you, who knows, maybe you'll be a photographer to the stars!

that is cool in too many ways to define right now.

i'm going to try getting into shooting fetish photography out here. i may have an in for this.

This is awesome, Chris!! Just imagine how many people are going to see that album cover. Congratulations on a big accomplishment.

I have been all over the pplace and I have less than ten votes between the two.

I'm disgusted and going to bed.

I really like my Fill the Frame and kind of expected it to come out of the gate charging.
