How do I get back in? Is there a special registered user's page? |
The admins must've got the note I sent about you.

Same thing happened to me, except underneath the "notify" section is a teeny tiny login box. I typed in my email and go the same "we don't know you" come back when we're open message.
Went back to my "invitation" thinking maybe I didn't completely register, but then it told me someone was already using that email address. wonderful.

There's a lot about that site that doesn't ring good bells, with me. I think it's definitely in beta, maybe early in beta, and we're hitting it pretty hard. Probably harder than it's ready for. |

You did exactly what I did, to no avail.

Yes I can. Maybe this is a cookies thing or something? I just logged in from work, but Karmat says I can't from home. That's strange.
I just logged you in, too, Karma. ???? Make sure you're not using the big "Enter your email address" box. That's not for login. The login box was almost invisible on our screen last night.

No, I'm using the teeny tiny box that you can't see :)
Should I do something with my cookies, maybe? |

Ah ha! I received an email reply back from one of their owners! I was entering my email address in the password box, not the email box.
The âAlready a Memberâ section is a bit confusing from a usability (UI) standpoint. The textbox borders are so light in color that the âEmailâ text looks like a label and makes me think that the â********â string is where I need to enter my email address.
So, make sure you enter your email address in the box that says, "Email", and enter your password in the box that has the dots.
Everything works fine now!

Jacob (one of their owners) emailed me back to let me know that he took my suggestion to change the text from "Email" to something like "Enter email address here". He's updated that site slightly. He changed it to "Enter Email". He also darkened the boxes just a bit.
Talk about fast customer service! :-D

Maybe I am missing it but are there any rules to the contests or the site in general? I noticed the last contest many submitted old stuff found on DPC. I assume that's allowed? Also, is there a way to view scores? In the contest results it shows the order but there doesn't seem to be any scores associated with the photos themselves. It seems you just have to go by what the site claims to be the winner.

From what I understand:
- You can submit photos that are old (doesn't have to be taken that week).
- Maximum file size is 3 Mb
- Minimum width is 522 pixels
- File types allowed: .jpg, .gif, .png

Nope, no rules. My guess is that this helps to attract non-photography sorts of art, since a painting takes a bit longer.
I think scores and placements are available when you go in to look at a photo and hit the "more details" (it's that or something similar) link underneath the photo. It has a + next to it.

Actually I think it's Minimum dimension is 522 px, because I've submitted 800 px photos with no problem. |

You're correct...my bad.
According to the site:
"Minimum of 522 pixels wide"
So I'm assuming there are no height restrictions.
