Hello i've been wondering how to put faces from photographs into lets say a statue like for an example mt.rushmore.

like someone has done here with arnolds face (//z.about.com/d/politicalhumor/1/0/s/A/arnold_rushmore.jpg)

Is someone who might be able to mabye tell me where i can find tutorial to do something like that....

A little familiarity with Photoshop, or many other editing programs, would be what you need. Do some google searching for photoshop tutorials and I'm sure you'll find some good reading on this.

What should i look for... that is whats that tecnique called... does anyone know that

hmm... looks to me like blending modes, color changes, and layer masks

but I'm an amateur, so I'd probably go about it the wr/l-ong way

eta: you might try asking biteme, she's friendly and good at splicing images.. also Art Roflmao

There are so many different techniques for achieving that effect, and so many different skills needed to do it well, that I doubt it's called anything in particular. I just did a quick search of a couple of photoshop tutorial sites I have bookmarked and came up with these two, which both contain elements that would be useful to you:
