Just bought my Canon lens ( 50 mm f/1.8 II ) ... welll cant wait to try it !!! not that expensive but as i saw , it worth it !
well....I just wanna tell it !

hehehehe mine arrived yesterday!! It really does feel cheap and rubbish but its sooooo wide open and sharp.
Works beautifully with extension tubes too. |

Shame you just missed using it for the Shallow DOF Challenge - it's amazing wide open!
Have fun - and don't cut yourself - it's pretty darn sharp!

Silly question but it's the only way I'll be able to get an answer....
I noticed the Tamron lenses have a ring at the back of the lens with the f-stop numbers on them. Does this mean that the f-stop must be controlled manually instead of by the camera or...is that just how they label it for something else? |
