I was checking my ss figures and amongst all my 25c sales I had a $20 sale for an "enhanced licence image".
As this was a wonderful surprise I looked up what this was on their site but could only find a very long page written in legalese. Could someone explain to me in simple terms what the difference is? |

I think it mostly means that they can use it for things otherwise prohibited, like T-shirts, or in quantities above what the standard license allows. |

yep that is right.
they can use it on products for resale, or larger quantities.

Ouch - Are these sales really worth doing? sounds like people are getting real bargains - Unlike the photographers?

Only you can answer that for your situation....here's my take:
* I look at the total income for an image, so if it brings in say $50 over a few months then I'm fine with it.
* Similarly to DPC, one learns as they participate.
To the guys that answered my Licence question, many thnx.

Sometimes I notice an EL of $10-20 comes in for clean but generic backgrounds and textures. Such images I do not really regard as pretty precious so the income they earn is all well and good for me. I don't think one should sell ones family jewels via SS, though. There are better places for those items.

I think some photographers think their images are worth more than they really are ...
