i want to be added please , i will try to be consistant, i just got the SB-600 nikon flash and trying to learn how to use it, so i am thinking this will be a great way to achieve that

Okay everybody, I'm jumping into this fun with both feet and see what's it's like to shoot a portrait everyday. I thought I would start out with an animal portrait first and go from there.

april 2nd and i'm already behind... doh! i actually took a bunch of candid portraits this weekend, but didn't have time last night to put up the first one...
though i'd like too, i just can't shoot every day, but i'll do my best not to go back before march 31st to fill a day so they'll all be fresh...
so here are the first two days. i figured, what better way that to start off with my favorite subject for portraits: my son.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I cant figure out how to put pics on.

There you go - when you post a thumbnail image, click the thumbnail button (second button from the right above the reply box), type in ONLY the image number.

Put the image ID number, which seems to be 491883, in the space after clicking the "insert thumbnail" icon. It has the picture of two bluish squares. |

Only put the number when you put the ID. So just put 491883 when it asks for the ID. |

Doug, that is a GREAT photo! The lighting is beautiful. I love her serene look. Is there a place to comment on the photo besides here in the thread??
