| hmm... so i went from 12 votes and 4.6666 to 13 votes and 4.38461538462. if that 4.6666 is taken to mean 4.666666666666666, then that gives an interval vote of exactly 1. this would suggest that the extra decimal places are just a lack of truncation/rounding and not random numbers. as i sincerely hope that my score is not this low, i wonder if this represents 10-score (so a 4.38 is really a 5.62). dunno... |

I sure hope not!
My guess for the real score:
display score = (10 - real score) + 1
This would have the effect of reversing the voting scale
10 - real score would have yielded imperfect vote * avg vote results.

How long did it take you guys to get your normal home page back because I have been logged on for a couple of hours (sorry only one hour) and I still only see my submissions and scores. I am so glad that I looked at this thread, freaked at the scores and how they yoyo'd all over the place. I knew that there were a lot of great entries but thought my entry was ok, not abysmal.

Got up early today. JUST to check my score. I had thought this might do quite well for me. 4.200453299873.
Now i'm so paranoid thinking that everyone else has their score changed, but mine is correct.
I hate april fools day.
Well only when the joke is on me.
Help, i'm going slightly mad.
Tell me it will be ok.
