| I cant believe that because you dont have the high score that you want that you would self DQ? Doesn't seem very professional to me. If you took the photo and entered it then you should allow other to vote and give you feedback. You obviously thought it was good enough to enter because you did. Now that you see the other photos and that the score is not up to your standards you want to wipe it off the slate? Seems a bit childish to me. |

PS: Seen my image that scored 3.875? If I was going to Self DQ an image it would have been that one!

Yea, don't DQ yourself, rationalize instead. Like "I'm a non-fiction photographer in a fiction photographer's website". I use that one a lot for my low scores. Or maybe, "I march to the beat of a different drummer, like so many other famous artists before me, and the rest of the group just can't appreciate this higher level of art". Or "I'll only be famous after I'm dead".
There must be thousands more. :-) |
