I can only see three comments and it says there is only one page, yet the little side bar thing says I have 13... eek

There's a little bit of a disconnect between the number of comments received displayed on your profile and what it actually displays when you click it. The number is a total of all comments, including the current challenge pictures. However, it doesn't show comments on your current entries when you click it, because anyone can go to your profile and click it, and they'd be able to see your current entries if they showed. So the difference between the (now) 14 showing in the side bar and the three that show from old challenges, means you should have 11 comments on you current entries. Sounds like a good response to your latest work! :-)
edit: Just noticed, those three comments are on portfolio pics, not challenge pics. But you get the idea...
