Howdy,

I live in Chorlton (South Manchester) and was seeing if anyone other like-minded individuals are in or around the area and possibly do the photography thing?

That sounds a good idea never been to manchester.

I only live a few hours drive so traveling isn't a problem.

What date were you looking at to have a get together?

I'm only in Sheffield so its a short hop over the hill to Manc.
Hey - how do you fancy meeting up weekend of 27th, there's a 1940's event at the East Lancs Railway, its a fantastic day out and some really great photo oportunities.

Can't make the Saturday, but will be there on the Sunday without a doubt.

btw Ben, if you fancy saving fuel I can drive from M1 J31.

I might be interested, too - but I haven't had my vaccinations yet, and will need to make sure my passport is up to date ;Â¬P Need to check up on family commitments before I can confirm.

Well I can do any weekend days I think except for the coming Bank Holiday as I'm going camping, which is a fine way to get some pictures.

I'm quite suprised people responded so fast actually, I expected about 3 replies over 3 months! Anyways, I am free most weekends but do not drive so I'm limited to public transport if you guys wanna head out and about.

As for 1940s railway... not something I would have considered but you never know, could be a good laugh. I'll keep a look out for some other stuff that may be going on too because it is a city after all so there's gotta be something going down.

Sounds good Valdo, none of my friends are particularly into photography so i'd love to meet and learn a few new tricks. I checked out your portfolio and there's some nice stuff on there and you seem to be a Canon man like me... and everyone else on this thread :)

Well, you're only a 15 minute #101 bus ride away from me :) Overloaded with work/family/new home at the moment though. Could probably do some shooting in the near future sometime if you like?

Sounds very good!!! I lived in Manchester for a year and a half and never met a fellow DPCer, it would be great to meet some people later this year :)
