I went and bought a Canon 300D and this is my first stab at trying to do something creative with it. I am a newbie and thought I would see what people thought about this picture. I'm looking for any pointers, comments, critiques, etc.

Congrats & Welcome to Team Canon.


Nice perspective and I like the desaturation you used. The sky is a little bright; wonder what you would get if you metered the shot down a little and use a flash to capture some of the details that are in shadow with this version?
