I would like to hear from the voters or anyone else on this image. Good or bad comments are welcome with no PMs to retaliate for your opinion. I thought this was a pretty good image and it did not score as well as I had hoped. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to take the time and help me with this.

This was the first DPL challenge so I think there were a lot of lower average scores. 5.6 was pretty good for this challenge - well in top half of image. I thought it was a solid image but nothing really stood out to take it over the top.

Can you tell us why you think it's a good image and worthy of a higher score?

Hoping for a higher score does not imply that it deserved one. I just wanted to know how I could have improved it to be a better image. I think I did a pretty good job of capturing the intent of the challenge and I like the photo personally. It does not have that OMG, WOW, pop factor that is needed to get a ribbon here and I knew that when I entered it. It has sentimental meaning to me and that makes it a good image in my eyes. However, this is a challenge site and I wanted viewer opinions on how it could have worked better. I know it is hard to comment during a challenge, especially for a middle of the road image. Thanks for asking the question. |

I like the picture, just didn't grab my attention. Perhaps it would have looked better with some flowers in those pots?
