I have many images stolen everyday from my website (casio-calculator.com). To a point that I only ask people to mention my website as the original source when they take it. These are small pictures but still. BBC Documentary paid me few years ago for the use of 100 small pictures from my Casio website. It is just out of control when making websites.

Just looked for my most stolen photo again. Someone is even using it as their linkedin profile picture!
Seriously... wow.
One that was kind of cool is a company that does hand beaded purses that showed my photo as an inspiration for one of their purses. It would be fun to get a purse for payment for using my photo. But I doubt that will happen. |

That one should be easy to get pulled by the Linkedin admins.
They are all puffed up about themselves and the potential damage to their reputation for allowing image theft to occur undeterred should make them proactive.

I have successfully used a DMCA takedown notice with Facebook. LinkedIn should be just as responsive.
