I'm thankful to have a very good professional lab less than 10 minutes from home. Photo Depot has been very helpful to me. I'd much rather deal with someone who knows what they're doing, and I can see in person.

Check out Adoramapix.com
Quality is good and they have sale once in a while. Now, for example, 8x10 is 99c. Sometimes they have 11x14 for $1.99

If you're going to be printing large orders of headshots for an actor, check into headshot-specific lithograph printing. Cost is much cheaper than regular photo printing, the quality is very nice (although not as archival as photos), and is pretty much a standard here in LA. The few heashots I've done I haven't dealt with the litho ordering, so I can't give you any links off the top of my head.

I just placed an order Friday, my prints came back super. I have used their silver paper, and the matte white both with fantastic results. What I like is the ability to have them not color correct the order. That is a must for me. About $2 an 8x10 though, kinda pricey compared to other places.
