Day 6: DISASTER!!!

I took Cody to a local reservoir to shoot some pics while he got to cool off on a hot day. Getting out of the car, my camera was in my lap and I was carefully trying to make sure I had a good grip on it. I also wanted to make sure I had it in the hand that the leash WASN'T in. Then, Cody got excited, jumped over my lap and... got caught on the camera strap and pulled my camera out of my hands and onto the parking lot. Lens first. My 24-105 F4L IS is now separated into two pieces. I can't believe it.

Anyway, I cheered up enough to manage a still of Cody inside. No more action shots for me ;)
