PS Cs or PS 7.0? And what are people's thoughts on the differences between the two? Which one do you use?

My thoughts are that they are not worth the price. |

Photoshop CS has some great new features, im impressed with it , why dont you download the trial version of photoshop CS it's the same as the full version only with a 30 day trial period.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7, Paint Shop Photo Album 4, IrfanView, and the software that came with cameras. I got Gimp, an open source (free) program that is supposed to be a full featured photo editor, but haven't got around to learning it yet. Also use demo version of NeatImage.

Adobe Photoshop is the better choice for graphic manipulation, color correction and pre-printing. AS a Web developer, Web tools are appreciated in the same way either in Photoshop or ImageReady. 10 years using Photoshop are a grade, of course, and I don't want to change. Anyway, PaintShop Pro, Photoshop Elements and other less expensive software can do a lot of work.
And, CS better thant 7.0? OF COURSE!

Just the 16 bit editing capabilities are worth the upgrade. I love it. |
