I've read a lot about the fake memory cards flooding ebay, and I'm wondering if the same is true of filters. I'm looking for a couple hoya uv hmc filters. Does anyone know of counterfeit filters being manufactured?
Thank you,
Luke |

Don't know of any specifically. But, I wouldn't doubt there's fakes around. Spend a couple of dollars more and get them from a reputable supplier, you won't regret it.

I would guess that the market is not large enough to make selling fake filters worth it. |

thanks to everyone for the replys
I bought a 58mm before the "is it fake?" question came up, so I guess I'll have it shipped, then buy the 67mm if the 58 looks good.
Thanks again
Luke
eta: the 58's the real thing
