'93 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Have owned about 10 VW vans, many of them Westfalia campers, A GMC panel van for the business, a Ford Fiesta, a Mazda GLC, a Corvair Monza, a '56 Porsche, a BMW 328is (gawd I loved that car), a Fiat 850 Spyder, a 240D Mercedes, a Volvo wagon, a Volvo coupe, a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a '76 Saab — that's all I can remember right now...

Brad! hehehe... j/k couldn't resist. |
I still don't think all of the smell is gone from a few times I spent fogging up the windows way back in 1974.

Enjoying not owning a car right now. Having driven hundreds of miles a week during my 6 years in Chicago, I am relishing the fact I can walk to work. Remarkably cheap form of transport and much better for me healthwise. Not sure how long I will manage without a vehicle, especially when we reach the winter, but for the time being I am very much enjoying it. |

Provided I can still drive it when I get back to the US, I will be driving my green 1999 Subaru Outback, 211,000 miles when I left it.
Needs a new engine (anyone in KY or NC willing/able to do that for about $2000?) but looks other wise perfect...could be because the right side from back door to front bumper had to be replaced when a semi-tractor trailer tried to play pinball with me and the concrete road divider. Ever seen the black circle on the side of a NASCAR car when they side bump? I had that down my entire side lol. Guy never even stopped, cop said he probably didn't even know he hit me, I told him that if I catch up to him he's gonna know.
I hope I can get it fixed, I love my subaru (3rd I've owned), despite my daughter hating to ride in "a wagon" lol. She really hates it when I used to pick her up at the movies with my windows down and some crazy rap music blasting...she actually walked right past me once lol. |

Same exact car I sat in, at the dealership, in 1973, when my Dad bought it for my Mom. Drove it on a few dates while I was in High School. Painted once, never wrecked, all original locks, glass, body, etc and still have the window sticker from it. My daily driver. |
So... virtually unedited? |

That is unless that isn't from 1974 and was from when my Mom had it, and ..
*shakes head to clear that thought quickly*
Yeah, was from 1974 - Uh huh - definitely from 1974

VW's always had that distinct smell (as well as sound), despite what you created while fogging up windows. My brother-in-law had one (not sure on the year) that almost went up in flames from the battery under the back seat touching the seat springs...yeah I don't want to know what caused that lol. |

I can see where one might think that, perhaps a name change to chevymanf1 would clear things up a bit, it's all a reverse phsycology thing, lmao. |

94' GMC Jimmy: Ugh, inherited it when I was 16 in 2005 from my dad. I called it my "green dumpster on wheels"...though I must admit it was built like a tank. I traded it for a mere $2000 (and I was luck to get that much for it.
'02 Mazda Tribute: Yay, bought it with my own money (technically) last year when I was 18 :)
I still like it, though the gas milage wasn't as good as they said it would be and the turn radius sucks in comparison to my old Jimmy. Oh well I think it's a great car otherwise, so much so that I drive it a little too much. oops. |

Citroën C1, also known as Peugot 107 and Toyota Aygo. 21 kilometers on 1 litre = like a Prius. I smile everytime I fill the tank with petrol and look at the sad faces of all the people around me who just spent two to three times as much on fuel to cover the same distance.
And a Yamaha XTX. I smile everytime I do something silly on it, which is about every ten seconds.
