hi, i have a quick question,
umm so is there a specific rule on watermarking your photos?
like if i take a picture of something thats my idea, then i can watermark it, but when taking pictures of myself or taking pictures of me and my friends, i dont have a tripod, so i would need someone else to take the picture, but if its my idea, can i still watermark it as my photo?
i mean if my friend isnt some professional photographer, just some random person who is taking the picture for me

I'm pretty certain you can watermark the image even if someone else took it for you providing it is your camera and they aren't gonna be a total tool about claiming they took the image. The chances of someone claiming they own the picture cause they pressed your shutter down is pretty slim but if you are making millions off of it they may think they are in part responsible and want what is due them. |

besides what Sabphoto said,
if you're having somebody else take the photograph, chances are, it's going to be a snapshot anyway (as opposed to a photograph).
in my eyes, the photographer is the one that sets up the photo. |
