Next year is my partners big "40" we have decided to take a month off to see some wonderful sites of the world. One consideration is heading out to the west coast of the USA and hirering a small motorhome for the month and seeing the sites ie: the canyon that's rather grand, Yosemite park, Las vegas and some of the Arizona desert. Does anyone have any experience of a similier trip and could you direct us to a site that could accomidate? Many thanks.... |

Browse the Travel Channel Website and definitely go check out your local AAA.
A whole month on a road trip that's so cool. Have to post pictures when you get back. |

Don't miss the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone and the Tetons either. |

About 10 years ago my inlaws came to town and we rented a motorhome from Cruise America and did an 8-10 day inland California trip - central valley, Kings Canyon (red woods), Tahoe and Yosemite. It was a great time and, as I recall, we had no problems with the motorhome - it was in good shape and reasonably clean. I don't remember the price (I didn't get stuck with the bill), but I think it was around $1000. |
