I almost entered this:  , but I took this shot later in the week:  . Clearly I entered the better (as in potential to score highly) shot, but I'm interested in comments on my outtake. |

entered Rural Landscape instead, but had this one almost ready to enter Urban. what do you think?

Several commenters noted the lake looked interesting...in deference, here's an outtake of TDot. To be fair, I think my post-process routine for the outtake was different.

I ended up in Rural, but almost went w/ one of these:
I thought the picnic here was humorously out of place, almost looks PSed in. 
If it hadn't been quite so humid, the colors in the background might have been brighter, and I would have liked it more -
The sunset was cool, but kinda blurry -
And I had several very nice night shots, but the weird little cloud made cropping difficult -
